The bears ascend, their heartbeats embodied in the natural world. They give themselves to the Beauty all around, and rise above into something greater, though they don’t generally try to put this into words. Wise bears.

The past trails off into the infinite unknown. Their future trails off into an equally infinite unknown. But they dwell fully in the moment and make the most of it, giving each other bear hugs and belly rubs, astonished to have ended up in just this time and space together.

Of course, our all lives are momentary flickers in the Universe. But, rather than despair, let the Truth give rise to a sacred perception, a deep moral reflection on what is worthy of our time and what deserves our love, respect, and protection.
